Gardening and life

From Trina B: Each spring, gardeners take plants from their garden, split them up and transplant them to another section of their garden or give them to a friend to plant in their garden.....and more times than not, the plant being moved to a new place, thrives.....even tho everything has changed....different soil, different “neighbors”, different times of day for sun or different angles of the sun.....yet the plant settles in, sends down roots and grows and blossoms. My yoga instructor used this analogy comparing it to life and what happens to us in life......things happen, we move, change jobs, lose a friend, lose a spouse and everything around us changes....and we can be like the plant and settle in to the change, and thrive.....or not. This analogy struck me to the core.....and I am so grateful that like the plant, I’ve been able to adapt to the change and thrive even tho some of the changes have been difficult or beyond painful. Thank you Heidi for sharing this analogy with the yoga class.......
